Dawa Dachhiri Sherpa – EN


Born in Taksindu Solukumbu in Nepal on 3 November 1969, Dawa is a Nepalese long-distance runner and ultra-trail competitor. In just a few years, he became one of the best ultra-trail runners, winning hundreds of races, including the mythical Mont Blanc Ultra-Trail. He took part in the Olympic Games three times, in 2006, 2010 and 2014.
The Nepalese Olympic Federation asked him help set up a national cross-country skiing organization so that Nepal could have its own representative at the Turin Olympics.
